Gingrich On The Daily Show
I watched Gingrich appear on The Daily Show today. Always funny to watch these guys try and smooth-talk. First thing he attempted was to butter up his relationship with Clinton by saying how they did a lot of good things together like balance the budget. God, I would have loved for Stewart to interject there. Excuse me, do you mean to imply you're actually in favor of balancing the budget? Funny, none of the other Republicans are. The other thing was how he said he was successfully able to get past all the distractions of the witch-hunts and do some real work with Clinton. So, he's patting himself on the back for being able to get past those pesky obstacles that he created. Oh, that's wrong? You mean you condemn the witch-hunts; the impeachment proceedings? I'm sorry, could you clarify?
