Florida Vote Purging
In 2000, several thousand eligible voters that were almost assuredly Democrats were kept from voting by a partisan plan allowed by Jeb Bush. It is all documented in "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy", by Greg Palast.
Suburban Guerrilla points out that it is happening all over again. Yes, there were lawsuits that were filed and settled that were supposed to ensure it wouldn't happen again. Yes, the lawsuits are being ignored. Yes, that has happened before, too.
