Debate Headlines

Funniest headline I've seen so far: "Analysis: Foreign Policies Differ". That's one hell of an analyst!

I can't remember who said it, but I think a commentator recently pointed out that if someone on the Beltway had declared that the world was flat, the New York Times would run a headline saying, "Shape Of World In Question." This looks like more of that kind of dull-witted, context-free pseudo-objectivity that plagues our media. Cut to the chase, not to the bone, guys.

Paul Krugman has made this point a few times.
