Awful Headlines

MSNBC - CBS: Bush documents can't be verified

Meanwhile, the headline that links to this article off of the msnbc front page: "CBS admits Guard documents false."

They did not admit they were false. With media like that, is it any wonder that the public had the impressions it did about the war?

Hey, those headlines weren't "awful", they were "misleading"... in fact that should be "headline" without the "s"... one headline. What awful titles you have.

Reading about this in the local paper, my favorite part came in the last sentence of the article. "Knox said Killian had her type 'similar' memos critical of Bush as a National Guard officer, but not the ones CBS based its story on." That one nearly gave me whiplash.
